What I Knew:
I knew that there were different ways to present a movie either by downloading one that has already been filmed or by making an actual recording.
What I learned:
I was so happy that I was introduced to this app that allowed for us to make movies. We learned how to download clips from youTube and put them together to orchestrate a movie or demonstrate a topic relative to our different field of interests. By using youTube down loader a video of choice was placed on the windows movie maker as well as songs and pictures to make the movie more interesting. I choose the topic of Marketing since it is one that would utilize all the learning styles of the students. Movie maker has now enhanced my teacher technique since I am now able to appeal to the visual learners, auditory learners and can teach my students to manipulate the movie maker app and make a movie for themselves regarding the topic.
What I need to further explore:
In my own time I would further explore the editing options and try to be as creative as possible with my movie making. Like I said I can be your producer. This is a highly recommended device to involve students as well as capture their attention.
I had a little difficulty while editing and voice recording since there was some noise in the back ground while making the movie.
You can view my movie below, it is a presentation on Marketing and the different marketing techniques that are used. Some are pictures that have messages, advertisements using popular stars and some that appeal to emotions. It would be nice if you can identify each technique that you viewed in the video :) :)
